i know

People say they know that Jesus lives. They say they know that He is God’s Son and the Savior of the world. To the logical mind that sounds strange. How can anyone truly know without seeing? What proof do you have?

I found myself reflecting again and again on my own testimony. Do I really know? I have no physical tangible evidence. I have never seen or touched Him. My mind got fixated on that thought and I began to wonder, maybe I don’t know. Maybe I just believe it’s true, hope it’s true, and move forward with faith.

Then, as I sang these words, the Spirit completely overwhelmed me and I couldn’t hold back tears:

A long time ago, in a beautiful place,

Children were gathered ’round Jesus.

He blessed and taught as they felt of His love.

Each saw the tears on His face.

The love that He felt for His little ones,

I know He feels for me.

I did not touch Him or sit on His knee,

Yet Jesus is real to me.

I know He lives! I will follow faithfully.

My heart I give to Him.

I know that my Savior loves me.

Words literally cannot describe the sensation of the Holy Ghost. This moment was far more powerful and profound than anything that could ever be perceived by my five senses. The Holy Ghost reveals undeniable truth. The greatest witness man can receive is given by God the Third, the Witness or Testator.

Jesus is real to me.

I know He lives.

I will follow Him faithfully.

My heart I give to Him.

I know that my Savior loves me.

I know that I know.

I know that God knows that I know.

I cannot and will never deny that I KNOW.
